Dr. Jared Hardaway grew up in Belgrade, MT and spent several years helping behind the scenes at the veterinary hospital with his Dad, Dr. Gordon Hardaway. His love for veterinary medicine began at a young age. He graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Dr. Hardaway completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. After graduation, he completed a one-year specialty internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital. While there, he focused on equine surgery, emergency medicine, lameness, and sports medicine. Dr. Hardaway’s areas of interest include equine lameness, equine reproduction, small animal preventative medicine, and surgery for both large and small animals. He’s glad to be back home working in a family-oriented practice and looks forward to connecting with clients and pets while sharing the knowledge that he’s learned. In his free time, you will find Dr. Hardaway exploring the great outdoors. He enjoys snowmobiling, hunting, horseback riding, and roping. His furry family consists of a black lab named Homer and two horses, Gypsy and Yiannis. Dr. Jared Hardaway is pictured with Homer
